The films here are a starting point, not a complete list. We began with the classics that cinema history has recognised and that changed the way films are made. A choice like that leaves things out.
Many remarkable films are missing: more niche ones, more international ones, films that shaped cinema without being famous. The library is not fixed. We want to add them slowly but surely, and to keep enriching the selection.
Any member can add a film to the library, and can request a full Cinespective guide to be written for it, with a number of requests that depends on the membership.
