Cinespective is still being built. For now, everything is free for everyone, including the Cine Guide.
Please use it fully, but go easy on the Cine Guide: each conversation costs real money, and there is no limit yet. Tell us what you think, and what you would be happy to pay. It will shape the prices below.
Why there are no ads
There is enough noise in the world. Cinema deserves quiet, and so do you. Ads would pull your attention away from the film you are about to watch, and the people who pay for ads always want more of that attention.
We will never show ads, and we will never ask you to pay to remove them. Nothing here is built to keep you scrolling.
What it costs, and why we ask
Running Cinespective is not free. The guides, lists and search cost very little once they are written, so they stay free for everyone. The Cine Guide is different: every time you talk to it, an AI model answers you, and that costs us money. A long conversation can cost more than a coffee.
A membership pays for those conversations and keeps the whole site free of ads. If you love what we do and can give a little more, becoming a Patron supports the mission directly. Thank you.

What the Cine Guide includes
Your cinephile expert, powered by AI. Write to it or speak to it. It chooses tonight's film with you, prepares you for a film without spoilers, talks over what you just saw, explores a movement, a director or an era, builds a list made for you, and learns your tastes when you tell it in your own words. It knows the whole library, remembers your conversations and never spoils a film you have not seen.

- Yes, any time, in one tap from My space. The first 7 days of a Member plan are free.
- What happens to my lists and journal if I cancel?
- They stay yours, always. You only lose the extra Cine Guide time.
- Will you ever show ads?
- No. Not now, not later.
- What if I use all my Cine Guide time?
- The Cine Guide tells you kindly, and everything else on the site keeps working. Your time renews on the same day each month.
- Can a Patron really pay anything?
- From $10 a month, or $100 a year, and as much more as you like. The extra goes straight into keeping Cinespective quiet and growing.
