Millard Mitchell (1903–1953) was a Cuban-born American character actor who played gruff, dependable supporting roles. After minor parts in the early 1930s, he became a busy Hollywood presence from 1942. He is best remembered as studio boss R. F. Simpson in Singin' in the Rain.
