Alessandro Cicognini (1906–1995) was an Italian composer who scored well over a hundred films. He is best known for his collaborations with Vittorio De Sica, including Bicycle Thieves, and for the Don Camillo series. His music helped define the sound of Italian neorealism and postwar Italian popular cinema.
