Mikhail Kaufman (1897–1980) was a Soviet cinematographer and documentary filmmaker, brother of Dziga Vertov. He shot Vertov's Kino-Pravda newsreels and Man with a Movie Camera, in which he also appears as the cameraman. He directed his own city and nature documentaries, including Moscow and In Spring.
