David Tomlinson (1917–2000) was an English actor who often played flustered, upper-class Englishmen. He worked in British films from the 1940s. He became internationally famous in Disney films, as George Banks in Mary Poppins, Professor Emelius Browne in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Peter Thorndyke in The Love Bug.
