Lee Unkrich is an American animator and director born in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined Pixar in 1994 as an editor and rose to co-direct Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo. He then directed Toy Story 3 and Coco, both Oscar-winning hits, before leaving Pixar in 2019.
