A London typographer with a severe stutter lives a quiet, solitary life. Online he is fluent, funny and open, but a long-distance friendship is about to ask him to be present in a room. A short, intimate drama about the gap between what we think and what we can say.
Why it matters in cinema history
A defining modern example of the Oscar-winning short drama: a small, character-led story that reached a worldwide audience through festivals, awards and online viewing rather than through a feature release.
Watch with intention
Listen to the difference between what Greenwood says aloud and what he is thinking, and ask how the film makes you feel that gap.
