Miles Morales is now a confident Spider-Man in Brooklyn, but a reunion with Gwen Stacy pulls him into a vast network of other worlds and other Spider-people. It is an animated adventure with a restless, painterly look and a story about growing up.
Why it matters in cinema history
A defining film of the 2010s and 2020s wave of stylised, painterly CG animation, and one of the most ambitious superhero films made without live action.
Watch with intention
Watch this as a film where style is storytelling: how each world looks and sounds says something about the people who live there.
