A Barcelona television reporter and her cameraman are making a late-night programme about the working life of a fire crew. What starts as a light, slightly dull shift turns into the most unusual night of their careers, all of it seen through the lens of one handheld camera.
Why it matters in cinema history
A defining example of the post-Blair Witch horror cycle, showing that found footage could carry a tightly plotted, genre-driven story, and a key title in the wave of 2000s Spanish genre filmmaking.
Watch with intention
Watch it as a film about what a camera can and cannot see, and about who decides where it points.
