Siblings who run a family horse-training business for film sets struggle to keep it alive in a remote California valley. Strange events in the sky above their ranch pull them toward an ambitious plan. Part western, part sci-fi thriller, part Hollywood satire.
Why it matters in cinema history
A key film of the 2020s wave of director-led, original genre cinema, which extends the Spielberg-era tradition of sky-watching blockbusters through a Black American perspective on Hollywood's history.
